Registered Manager Opportunity – Therapeutic LD Children’s Home

I’m currently working on behalf of a valued client to recruit an experienced Registered Manager for a therapeutic Learning Disabilities (LD) children’s home based in Sunderland.

Salary: £48,000 per year
Location: Sunderland
Start Date: ASAP

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and dedicated professional to lead a supportive, child-centred service, making a real difference in the lives of young people with learning disabilities.

Key Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Registered Manager (or strong Deputy ready to step up)
– Background in therapeutic care and supporting children with LD
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Full UK driving licence (essential)
– An understanding of of Trauma Informed care and therapeutic background. A working knowledge of PACE and effective understanding of what a therapeutic placement looks like.
– Hold a Level 3 NVQ diploma in Residential Childcare/Health and Social Care Children’s Workforce (Or equivalent) OR have a NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent
