About the role
- Supporting individuals through person-centred care
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and the development of daily living skills
- Providing housing-related support, including budgeting guidance and signposting to relevant services
- Supporting individuals with their mental wellbeing, confidence-building and personal goal setting
- Administering medication safely and accurately in line with policies, procedures and individual care plans
- Maintaining accurate records
About You
- Minimum 6 months paid full-time UK experience in support work (or 12 months part time)
- Understanding of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions
- Reliable, compassionate and confident working alone or in a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt your approach to meet individual needs
- Passion for supporting vulnerable adults, young people and families
- Committed to safeguarding individuals’ welfare and always uphold the highest standards of safety, dignity and professional conduct
